SplitApple is an iOS archery game developed by French game development studio MKO Games, released on 15 April 2011. It runs on iPhone 3GS and later and iPad 1st generation and later.

About the game[]

The game is controlled with one finger to draw the bow and by tilting the device to aim. Shots have to deal with both distance and wind.

Game modes[]

The game features 5 different game modes:

  • Challenge
Do your best score in 3 sets of 5 rounds each:
    Set 1 – 5m / 10m / 15m / 20m / 25m on a static target
    Set 2 – 5m / 10m / 15m / 20m / 25m on a moving target
    Set 3 – 5m / 10m / 15m / 20m / 25m on a moving target with blockers
  • Time Trial
Perform the best possible score in a minute only on the static target.
  • Survival
Start with 10 arrows. Get extra arrows with good shots on target and apples. Difficulty increases each 250 points.
  • Pop Up
Waves of randomly placed targets will appear. When the player shoots all the targets of the wave, it increases its score multiplier. Missing targets will reset the score multiplier to 1.
  • Practice
Player can improve its skills on the training targets by adjusting the distance, the wind and the kind of target.

Game center[]

SplitApple integrates Apple's Game Center statistics for leader-boards and achievements. In version 1.3, there are 39 achievements to unlock.
